Bidirectional frequency converter is produced with power range 1 to 5 MW and widely used in power systems to control vessel’s propulsion system.

A bidirectional converter is a multi-operated equipment that allows you to work both in inverter mode, converting direct current into alternating current, and in rectifier mode, converting alternating current into direct current.

United electric power system based on common DC grid. It is designed for receiving, converting and distributing electricity both DC and AC to ship consumers. Main power is supplied from DC source based on accumulator batteries with possibility of their charging through elements of the system.

Dynamic voltage compensator «KANON» with power range up to 1 MW is intended to compensate voltage distortion, and short-term drops of supply voltage.

The system is designed to control the steering devices of the ship's side rudders, maintain the specified amplitude (magnitude) and frequency (period) of the on-board pitching of a moving vessel by changing the angle of rotation of the rudder pen in the plane of the ship's midship frame.

The IMPULSE RAC system provides control of the propulsive (propulsion) complex of the vessel by issuing control signals to the executive equipment, сontrols the condition of all devices included in the ship's propulsion complex.
